I RECEIVE DIVINE STRENGTH
Text: 1 Kings 19:4-8
But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat. And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee. And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.
Confession: Acts 1:8-9
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
By strength shall no man prevail. It is time for us to seek the spiritual food of the Holy Spirit in other to be strong as we navigate the year. Elijah received strength after being fed by the Holy Spirit. The disciples had to wait for the infilling by the Holy Spirit before launching out. Today, we have to pray the Holy Spirit to endue us with power and strengthen us for success this year, in Jesus name.
“Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest”. Ex 33:13-14

- Thank God for his will and purpose for your life and family this year, in the name of Jesus.
- Confess your sins and ask God for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus.
- I cover myself with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
- Blood of Jesus, flush out of my life, every satanic deposit weighing me down spiritually, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost fire, fall afresh on me, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Ghost fire, kill self and spiritual dryness in me now, and revive my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit open me up, fill me to overflowing with living water and revive my private prayer life, in the name of Jesus.
- O Lord, feed me with spiritual food and drink that will sustain me in all my endeavour this year, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, empower me now with firmness, steadfastness, strength and grace to overcome every power assigned against me, in the name of Jesus.
- Holy Spirit, anoint me for special wisdom, special knowledge and special understanding to excel this year, in the name of Jesus.
- My Father, in your mercy, let your presence and your favour walk with me at all time this year, in the name of Jesus.
- Begin to thank God for answered prayers, in the name of Jesus.
