Mark 6:56
“And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole”.
God is merciful and a loving father to us his children. Because God loves us, he hate to see us suffer pains and discomfort. He can do impossible things in other to secure our comfort, peace and happiness. For this reason, God made divine provision to restore our health when we get afflicted and are sick. Lam 3:22. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not”. There is no degree of ailment, no matter how terminal it is, God will surely heal and restore us from them all.
What Is Divine Healing:
- It is God’s supernatural intervention to restore good health.
- It is God removing the cause of infirmity, sickness and disease, there-by making us whole again.
- It is receiving health restoration suddenly, through the power of God.
- It is when a dry situation becomes flourishing.
Divine healing is the kingdom right of a child of God. We can approach God for divine healing:
- When our body, soul or spirit is not in the right condition health-wise.
- When physicians and doctors can not help us.
- When infirmity, sickness or disease becomes life threatening.
- When our land, our career or our business is not yielding benefits to us.
Ps 6:2
“Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed”.
Jer 17:14
“Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise”.
How Does Affliction Come:
The bible speaks about breaking an hedge and the serpent will bite. It is the broken hedge that allows the serpent and satanic agents to fire arrows of affliction, infirmity, sickness and disease into our lives. Hedge can be broken when these things are found in us:
- Sin and disobedience to God.
- Curse from God or from man.
- Broken covenants.
- Indiscipline and addiction.
- Murmuring and abuse of the tongue.
- Bitterness.
- Wickedness.
What To Do In Other To Receive Divine Healing:
Mark 10:52
“And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way”.
Deut 7:15
“And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee”.
Ex 15:26
“And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee”.
- Give your life genuinely to Jesus Christ if you have not done so.
- Repent and forsake your sinful ways.
- Study and meditate on the word of God without ceasing.
- Free your heart from bitterness and forgive those that have wronged you.
- Fast and pray targeted prayers fervently.
- Submit yourself to deliverance ministration.
- Exercise absolute faith in God to heal you.
- Praise and worship God joyfully with thanksgiving, in anticipation of your healing.
