What Is Familiar Spirit:
- Familiar spirit is a spirit of the devil, planted in a family or environment to gather information about happenings in the family or the environment.
- Familiar spirit is an ancestral spirit, that has complete detailed record of a person that dates back to the origin of his ancestors.
- Familiar spirit is the spirit that supplies information to the grids of satanic network, for evil operations or attack against a person, family, community, environment, etc.
Because familiar spirit is a servant spirit in the operations of dark power, every department of Satan’s kingdom seeks assistance from familiar spirits for a dossier on any case they are handling.
Those that seek after, vision, prophecy, necromancers, witches, wizards, diviners, soothsayers, star gazers, palm readers, contaminate themselves with familiar spirit and becomes an abomination unto God.
Consequences:

In other not to be ensnared by familiar spirit, avoid the following:
- Impatience.
- Undue curiosity.
- Desiring to communicate with departed loved ones.
- Wanting to gain intimacy with God through unscriptural means.
- Forcing yourself to be more spiritual than what God has allowed for you.
- Seeking for blessings outside God.
What To Do:
- Repent and rededicate yourself to God.
- Avoid traditional and cultural practices, especially if your tradition and culture is rooted in demonic worship.
- Seek and know God through His word.
- Have faith in God, and be patient with Him.
- Pray familiar spirit disconnecting prayers.
