STEPPING OUT OF DARKNESS INTO GOD’S MARVELOUS LIGHT

Bible Reading: Ex 12:18-37
Confession: Col 1:12-13
“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son”:

The midnight of today separates year 2021 from year 2022, it separates the old from the new. For Moses and the Israelites, it was the end of darkness and the beginning of light. It was the end of slavery, torture and oppression and the beginning of freedom and prosperity. It was the crossover night. “And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you”. (Ex 12:1-2). For us, it is a day of reflection and meditation, a day of stocktaking, a day of resolutions, a day of rededication to God. The decisions we take today will make or mar us in the year 2022. “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me”. (Prov 8:17).

My prayer for you today is that, the Holy Spirit shall bring you into humility, subjecting you under his control and lead you into making resolutions that will advance you positively in year 2022. He will endue you with power not to backslide but to stand firm in your resolutions, in Jesus name.

Prayers:

Sincerely confess your sins and ask God for forgiveness, in the name of Jesus.
Plead the blood of Jesus over your body, soul and spirit, to cleanse, sanctify and make you whole, in the name of Jesus.
O’ Lord, in your mercy, remember me, in the name of Jesus.
O’ Lord, send your fire into my foundation and purge out every evil plant, in the name of Jesus.
Blood of Jesus, purge out every seed of worrying and heartache from my life, in the name of Jesus.
Every covenant and curses assigned to stop my crossover to prosperous year 2022, be destroyed by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
Every ritual and sacrifice, offered by dark powers, to capture my glory in year 2022, backfire by fire, in the name of Jesus.
Powers assigned to detain me in darkness, turn back and die, in the name of Jesus.
I separate myself from evil loads of affliction, disease, procrastination, disappointment, failure, poverty, laziness and spiritual lukewarmness, in the name of Jesus.
Darkness disappear, I enter into God’s marvelous light in the name of Jesus.
I collect all my blessing that are yet to locate me in year 2021 and I crossover with them into year 2022, in the name of Jesus.
I breakthrough every power and barrier at the gate of year 2022 by fire.
I cross into year 2022 with my family in peace, joy, good health, safety, celebration and prosperity, in the name of Jesus.
Begin to thank God for answered prayers in the name of Jesus.
